It’s the new album from Wisconsin’s Michael Kinney! The album features ten amazing tracks written by Kinney with help from his twelve “Wild Saints”, amazing Mid-West musicians and vocalists.

“It all starts with the creative process which leads to a good song” says Kinney, an award-winning veteran songwriter and musician who has appeared on numerous albums and recording projects. Most notable, is 2013’s “KGP Conspiracy” (Gland n Hand Records) which Kinney penned with Central Wisconsin greats Travis Plantico and Jeff Gauss.

The “Leaving the Chaos” album was recorded at Red Carpet Studio’s in Biron, Wisconsin. Studio Owner/Engineer, Travis Plantico and Michael Kinney produced the album together. Also present was Hudson Plantico, the famed studio Dog.

The album's title tune “Leaving the Chaos” is a powerful tune about a returning veteran with PTSD. Kinney also describes “Leaving the Chaos "as putting behind the emotional and physical obstacles he endured while recording the album.

The album also contains hard hitting rockers (Unstoppable, Wild Saint, My Favorite Part) as well as classic Midwest rock (Get a Grip on my Heart, I'm still waiting, and Middle-Aged Women on Scooters). The first radio release “Carry me Home” is a hauntingly emotional ballad about a man facing his last days on earth. As an added bonus track, Kinney embraces his Irish roots (Trickle McTounce) the story of an Irish lass who left Ireland in 1846. Rounding out the album is the McGuinn inspired “Pearly”, the story of a poor mute girl with a tragic past and an amazing smile.

With an eye on the Covid-19 virus, Michael Kinney and the Wild Saints shows and concerts are now being booked for late summer and early fall.
